punky scraps challenge #47

i decided to scrap yesterday! haven't done that in probably a year. in doing so,  i realized how much i really love scrapbooking. it feeds my creative side and i love to preserve the memories of my family in this way. with this layout i used challenge #47 at punky scraps. this type of composition is so much my style so this layout came together in just a few minutes. love that!

rainy day saturday...

it is supposed to rain here for the next 10 days! :( i really could use some sun. my husband and i are going to palm springs for a few days but of course, my one full day there the forecast there is.... you guessed it... RAIN! ugh! and today, i have a migrane so most likely won't get to have any creative time. bummer. but here is a layout i did recently using a sketch from punky scraps (challenge #10). the photo is of my kids at the the Palace Hotel in san franciso. they had this big crazy chair and of course, a great photo op!
