rustic treasures

anything made from reclaimed wood is so appealing to me. i love the warn, weathered look of repurposed items. when we are in a position to by a house again, i am definitely going to have one wall in my house covered in reclaimed wood planks. and they MUST have warn chipped paint to add to the character of the overall look. here are some fabulous finds:

flora bowley inspired

i painted again yesterday. it feels good. it has been such a long time since i painted anything larger than 8x10. literally since 2009! this one is 24"x24". i am so inspired by flora bowley's work that i just had to do one for myself. i really like how this turned out but i would love to get some brighter paint colors to work with. flora is in san francisco this weekend doing a workshop. wish i would have known earlier so i could have signed up!
