ssshhhh... i am at work right now and posting to my blog! ;) i started this year scrapbooking again after a 3 year hiatus. i have not purchased one new thing, forcing myself to use up all of my old supplies. and trust me, i have lots! i am enjoying getting back into the groove of it all and am having fun re-discovering all the techniques i like to use. i did this layout based on Pencil Lines sketch #227. i brought out my paints for this one which was most likely inspired by the bps "got paint" class that i am taking taught by emily falconbridge. paint is such a simple way to add a unique look to your layouts. if you haven't tried it yet, i highly recommend it! looking forward to a scrappy-artsy weekend!

I do like the paint strokes in the background gives it a depth. Blessings, Joanne
